What a Challenging week!

The saying, when it rains it pours, seems to be true. Experienced at facing challenges, I knew this too shall pass.

Thankful

My home life is wonderful. I have a loving,  supportive partner that makes the difficult things much more comfortable! He makes wholesome foods, assists in any of the household needs.  As he would say, “like the postman, I deliver.”

Yesterday, at my nephews birthday party, I was pulled aside to be thanked by two of the mothers attending. The week of Christmas, I went over to my sister’s house to bake cookies. While there, my brother in law called me over to my sister’s friend and next door neighbor’s home to do CPR. I was able to keep her heart beating for the paramedics.  Unfortunately, she passed away several days later. The mothers at the party said I gave them a few more days with their mother.

My clients are just amazing. They are so resilient, accommodating to quick changes especially this past week. They are reliable and wonderful to talk to. We are able to freely share our lives with each other.

Technology

Today, I am particularly thankful for the current state of technology. My sick cat, Mia, had medical tests to find out why she is sick. I should also mention the veterinarian who cared for her is a friendly and knowledgeable doctor.  His help assisted me in making decisions for Mia. Did I mention this was all done online!

Having the right people by your side is crucial.  Life can be difficult. Surround yourself with people who make you feel loved.  Stay positive. Write, meditate, rest, exercise, and eat healthily. These tips are what will help you through the tough times.
